=>Indian Union government has decided to implement reservation for Other Backward Classes (OBCs) as per the "Mandal Commission formula" for admission to Central educational institutions, including the IITs and IIMs, and also Central universities, including Delhi University. Mandal Commission provides for 27 per cent reservation for OBCs. This will increase the quantum of reservation in education from the current 22.5 per cent to 49.5 per cent.
=>Immigrant applicants to Netherlands must buy and watch a copy of an adult softcore racy movie to pass the Netherlands' new entrance examination. This compulsary exam costs $420 and can be taken at 138 Dutch embassies. The price for a preparation package that includes the film, a CD ROM and a picture album of famous Dutch people is $75.
