Christina Aguilera - Hot and Sexy American Hollywood Actress / Pop Star

Christina Maria Aguilera was born on December 18, 1980 in Staten Island, New York to Fausto Wagner Xavier Aguilera and Shelly Loraine Fidler. Her height is 5' 2 1/2". She is a famous American pop singer, actress and songwriter. Her debut major-label album was Christina Aguilera (1999), that produced four hit singles (one of them being 'Genie in a Bottle') and her second studio album was Stripped (2002). Aguilera began performing in talent shows at age six, with considerable success. She appeared on Star Search in 1988 (though she didn't win) and in 1992 joined the cast of the Disney Channel's The New Mickey Mouse Club, which also included Spears, future NSYNC members Justin Timberlake and JC Chasez, and Felicity star Keri Russell.

Christina Aguilera spent $2 million on her wedding to marketing executive Jordan Bratman. and wrote her single "Ain't No Other Man" as a special thank you tribute to her husband. She has starred in a Hollywood biopic of notorious burlesque stripper 'Tempest Storm' and released her third studio album, 'Back To Basics', in August 2006. Lead "Ain't No Other Man" was a substantial success, reaching the top ten in the U.S. and the top five in the UK. Aguilera described the double-CD as "a throwback to the 20s, 30s, and 40s-style jazz, blues, and feel-good soul music, but with a modern twist. "Back to Basics" had large opening sales its first week, reaching #1 in 13 countries including becoming Aguilera's first #1 album in the U.K. . It opened with more than 700,000 in sales its first week. Aguilera holds the title for the female with the biggest first week sales of 2006. Christina is a technically skilled singer with a genuinely powerful voice and was the most popular female singer of the late-'90s teen pop revival after Britney Spears.

Aguilera attempted to deter media's expectations when she issued her second studio album in fall 2002. 'Stripped', which appeared in October on RCA, was quickly criticized for its adult but confident approach. Aguilera's look had gone from glossy to gritty. She appeared topless on the cover of the album and went nude for a fall issue of Rolling Stone. Debut single "Dirrty" revealed her new sexual power and became a chart smash, while "Beautiful" showed her softer side. For her next record, however, Aguilera split from producer Scott Storch and went to work with DJ Premier and Linda Perry, among others, for the 2006 'Back to Basics', which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. The album, a two-disc set that explored her influences, mainly '20s, '30s, and '40s jazz and blues in the style of Etta James or Billie Holiday, portrayed a more mature, yet at the same time provocative, singer. Aguilera also posed nude for a Marilyn Monroe-inspired photoshoot for the May 2006 issue of GQ magazine, in which she was interviewed.
